The unused stage area in Barrett Hall has been converted to additional cold food storage space for South Community Food Pantry — a community effort!

Making space for the new freezer and refrigerator, 501(c)3 status, and a need for donations.

The Food Pantry at South Congregational Church is now South Community Food Pantry. Along with the new name for the organization, there is a new website full of information about the Food Pantry, St. Joseph’s Kitchen, Thanksgiving Angels, and other community resources.

In the summer of 2019, South Congregational Church installed 100 solar panels on the church roof that offset approximately 85% of electricity used by the church!
