Mary Wheat’s 91st birthday wish… Contribute to our 2024 Fall Cereal Drive — September 14 to October 14!

September 14 begins the countdown to Mary's 91st birthday!

We were overwhelmed with gratitude for the generosity of our community last fall when South Community Food Pantry received over 6,000 boxes of cereal for Mary Wheat’s 90th birthday!!

Cereal can be used in many ways — as meals, snacks, desserts — by families of all sizes.

We are inviting you to take part in our cereal drive again this year! You can bring boxes of cereal to our food pantry or to the food pantry of your choice. We want to reach as many people as possible who can benefit from this community effort. Our pantry volunteers are available to receive your donations Monday through Thursday from 8am to noon, and on Wednesday evenings from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Thank you!!
