Gift Card Fundraising

Support South Community Food Pantry by simply spending your regular shopping dollars with scrip gift cards!

What is scrip?

Scrip is a fundraising program that works while you shop as you normally would. It involves the purchase of gift cards from national and local retailers — the exact same gift cards that you buy at the store — through the fundraising company RaiseRight. There is no catch!

Support our food pantry simply by shopping the brands you love!

Over 750 top brands participate in the program! Target, Amazon, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Dunkin, Subway, Panera, and Starbucks — just to name a few!

Please note that our current fundraiser settings allow to you purchase only from retailers that offer e-gift cards and/or that allow the “Ship to Home” option for physical cards.

 

How does it work?​

You purchase gift cards through RaiseRight and the merchant sends a percentage of your purchase (anywhere from 2–20%!) directly to our food pantry. Everybody wins!

Physical gift cards, e-gift cards, and reloadable gift cards (or all three options) are available depending on the merchant. Any e-gift cards you purchase go right into your “wallet” in the RaiseRight app! Physical cards (if they have the “Ship to Home” option) can be shipped to any address.

Gift cards from RaiseRight have no activation fees and they never expire.

It’s really easy to get started! You can purchase gift cards through the RaiseRight website or the app. (The app stores your e-gift cards so you can use them on the go!) Either way, you earn money for South Community Food Pantry by simply spending your regular shopping dollars with scrip gift cards!

 

Using the RaiseRight Website

You can easily purchase gift cards through the RaiseRight website. Click the “Create an Account” button below to easily set up your RaiseRight account, discover your favorite shops and restaurants, and start earning money for our food pantry!

 

Using the RaiseRight App

The RaiseRight app is extremely user-friendly. The How to Get Started video on this page shows you how to:

  • Download the RaiseRight app from the App Store or Google Play,

  • Set up your account,

  • Enter the South Community Food Pantry Enrollment Code (BMPCKKIIR6TB) so that the funds raised are sent to our pantry, and

  • Purchase gift cards!
